Western Province Cycling together with Cape Winelands is proud to announce it’s annual Grand Prix which will take place on 16 December 2020. The WPCA has again offered to host the event at the Bellville Velodrome.

This event is aimed at riders wanting to be selected for the SA team who will compete in the Continental African Champs and Junior World Track Championships next year. Riders who perform well on the day, their names will go onto a LONG LIST which will assist in them in being selected for SA team. However the list is not a guarantee that a rider will make the team, selection will only be done after the SA Track Championships in Pietermaritzburg in 2020.

The Grand Prix will run on an Omnium basis where the rider who scores the most points will be declared the winner in the respective categories.
