WP Cycling has finally launched its own seeding system which will be used for most of our future races. The seeding criteria describe below is used in the calculation of your current seeding.
Current seeding criteria
The current seeding was created as follows;
| WP A | Registered A Teams and all AWL2016 Cat 1 riders with a top 3 finish* |
| WP B | Remaining AWL2016 Cat 1 riders |
| WP C | All male AWL2016 Cat 2 riders with a top 12 finish |
| WP D | Most remaining male AWL2016 Cat 2 riders, and Cat 3 riders with a top 3 finish* |
| WP E | All remaining male AWL2016 Cat 3 riders with a top 12 finish* |
| WP F | All remaining male AWL2016 Cat 2 riders with a top 20 finish* |
| WP G | All remaining male AWL2016 Cat 3 riders |
| Female | All female riders |
* Positions for the TT events were not taken into account.
At the discretion of the event organisers the seeding for some riders were manually changed.
Going forward
Current seeding as of September 2016. As our summer season progress we will re-seed again. Currently we aim to re-seed at the end of 2016. The new seeding calculations will be made available closer to the time. The current seeding might not be perfect, but it is a good starting point. We welcome any feedback.
