We kick off th
e New Year with a new favourite. We are going back to De Werf, just off the N7 on Philadelphia Road. This is the perfect venue for cyclists to bring their family and friends along to – there is a market, a restaurant and plenty for the kiddies to do while Dad is out racing.

Registration and Costs
Online registrations will open on or before 17January 2026. Costs for entry are as follows:

Please note that you need to purchase your race number and timing board which is necessary for timing and registration for the league. The cost for this is R50-00 and will be added to your first entry for the season.
The bike boards with the ORANGE Myriad Events strip at the bottom that were issued last year are still valid for this year.
Route
The cyclists will start at De Werf and head out on the Philadelphia Road towards Durbanville. At the intersection with the Klipheuwel Road, we do a left, past the Silos, to the stop street. Cross straight over the R304 to Slent Road. At the intersection with Vryguns, turn right, past Perdeberg to the R44. Left onto the R44. At the traffic lights, another left towards Malmesbury. After approximately 12km, we do a left back into Slent Road. Cross straight over Vryguns and R304. Right into Philadelphia Road and back to the venue.

Parking
Parking will be at the De Werf.
Race Numbers and Tags
Anyone who has not previously entered the league at the other events will be charged an additional R50 for your race number and timing board. Should you lose or forget your race number and timing board, you can purchase a new one at registration at a cost of R100.
Entry
Entries will open on or before 17January 2026 and will close on Thursday 29 January at 21h00
Cancellation Policy
The organisers of the Western Province Road Cycling Leage reserve the right to cancel the race should circumstances dictate. If we cancel the race 7 or more days before the time (on or before 25 January 2026) we will refund those who have entered 60% of their race fee. Anytime after that, we will refund 30% of your entry fee. Alternatively, arrangements can be made with the registration team to carry the race fee over to the rescheduled event. Should you request a refund, when the rescheduled event is announced, you will be required to pay the full amount again.
Entrants who cancel their entries 7 or more days before the time (on or before 25 January 2026) will be refunded 30% of their entry fee. Cancellations in the 7 days prior to the event, or on the day itself, will not be refunded
