Conclusion of the Criterium Series

 

Oh WOW!!!! What a series it was!

We started at PaardenEiland with a 1,7km loop around the industrial estate – and we saw some fast and furious racing – something that continued throughout the series.

We moved on to Century City 2 weeks later.  This route was really short and tight with the elites completing 56 laps in 50 minutes.  My word, they must have been dizzy after that.

The final event was at ASLA Park in Somerset West, and what a superb event to finish off our series.  A superb day out with the weather playing along until the elites took to the course when a pumping south easter caused splits in the field.
