Thank you for everyone taking the time to answer the poll we had on Facebook.
We have been informed that the only racing format we can use until 1 September is individual time trials, with a maximum of 50 participants. However, from 1 September we will be allowed to host events of up to 300 participants, in batches of 50.
WP Cycling do not have any full time staff and everyone who makes events happen do so on a voluntary basis. With this in mind, and considering the lead time of 4 – 6 weeks to apply for events at the events offices of the local municipalities, we are going to delay announcing the start of any road season until we are certain that all processes, procedures and protocols in terms of the COVID-19 regulations will be met and exceeded.
