- Individual Time Trial – Females
- Individual Time Trial – Other males
- Team Time Trial – Males
- Team Time Trial – Females
This event, and the TT series, will run on the basis of age categories but those riders who are taking part in the WP Autumn and Winter League series will have their results carried over towards their overall standings in Cat 1,2,3. Please note the changes made to points due to the addition of the team time trial below.
Whether you are fast or not so fast, it does not matter.
Team Time Trial
Teams of 2 riders may take part in the Team Time Trial, and in the next event we will make the team size larger. The time will be taken on the second rider.
Due to the additional categories and the team format all position points (individual and team) will be halved (and rounded down where applicable), so the first position in the individual time trial the rider will earn 9 points, followed by 8, 7, 7, etc. However, the first team will earn 9 points for each rider, followed by 8 points for each rider in the second team, etc.
Course and distances
Elites individual – and team time trial – 34.7km
The course will run from the Du Velde Farm Stall towards Hermon, where you will make a u-turn, pass the start towards Riebeek Kasteel, where you will make another u-turn at the second turnoff to the town, return to the start and repeat the circuit one more time.
Other categories – 24.2km
The course will run from the Du Velde Farm Stall towards Hermon, where you will make a u-turn, pass the start towards Riebeek Kasteel, where you will make another u-turn at the second turnoff to the town, proceed pass the start, again to Hermon, and finish on the opposite side of the start.

Any registrations received after this point will be slotted into the open time slots as described later.
Sign-on no later 30 mins before your scheduled start time and arrive at the start gate no later than 5 mins before your scheduled start. Late arrival at any one of these points may cause a delay in your start, or in some cases we would not be able to start you at all.
Late registration and sign-on will start at 7:30am and will close 30mins prior to the first start of your age category. Due to the nature of time trial events we are limited the number of late registration riders. We recommend you register online so that you can be placed on the start list. Note there will be a late registration fee of R100, so we recommend you register online to save costs too.
